 Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30, 1991) is known as his initials NF (stylized as IF), is an American musician, rapper, songwriter and record producer. He has released two EPs under Capitol CMG, "I'm Free" (2012) and"[3as well as a self-titled EP in 2014. Mansion was his first major-label release. The second studio album Therapy Session came out on April 22nd, 2016. It reached number 12 on the US Billboard 200. His albums have earned many distinctions, including the Gospel Music Association Dove Award Rap/Hip Hop album of the year (Therapy Session). NF gained mainstream recognition with Perception in 2017. The album peaked on the charts in the United States at number one and was certified Platinum. "Let You Fall" was ranked at number 12 on the. Billboard Hot 100 reached number one in the U.S. and was a top ten worldwide chart hit. The Search, his sequel to the hit album, was also a commercial success. Feuerstein claimed that the rap genre was the only way to escape from life during his youth. He would record songs using a karaoke machine, recording instrumentals with one microphone, and his raps on the other. On November 29, 2010, Feuerstein independently released his debut studio album Moments under his real name. The first single, "Alone", was released on August 2, 2011. The song featured songwriter and producer Tommee Profitt and Brooke Griffith. In 2012, the work of Feuerstein attracted the attention of Xist Music. Feuerstein released his debut extended piece, I'm Free on May 2, 2012. Profitt produced it. The playlist included nine tracks that included "Alone". The EP also included an exclusive version of "Alone" with Sean Simmonds. Xist announced that NF would be released however Feuerstein left the label over disagreements. NF production was postponed. NF contained a track titled "Only One" featuring Shuree Williams in the compilation album Move Vol 1. On November 4 in 2013, he released the single "Beautiful Addiction", which was released on November 4. Profitt was heard again on the track, as well vocals by Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
